Potato peas masala


Ingredients

1.Potatoes -200gm
2.Green peas -100gm
3.Onion-1 cup finely chopped
4.Garlic crushed-1 tbsp
5.Ginger crushed- 1 tbsp
6.Tomato puree-1 cup
7. Red chilly powder- 2tsp
8. Coriander powder- 1 tsp
9. Cumin powder- 1tsp
10.Turmeric powder- ½ tsp
11.Cumin seeds-1/2 tsp
12.Salt to taste
13.Oil – 2tbsp
14. curry leaves a few

Method

Peel potatoes and cut into cubes.

Cook the green peas and potatoes separately and keep aside.

Heat oil in a pan,  fry cumin, then add ginger and garlic and sauté well. Then add onions and salt and fry till the onions become golden brown.

Add powders 7-10 saute till the raw smell goes and add tomato puree and fry till oil separates from the masala. Add cooked green peas, potatoes and curry leaves, mix well and keep in low flame for few more mts.

Serve hot with chapatti.
