CHICKEN VARATTIYATHU
Ingredients
1. Chicken pieces -500gms
2. Small onions -1cup
3. Garlic -2 tbsp
4. Curry leaves -1/4 cup (or coriander leaves.)
5. Tandoori chicken masala - 2 tsp
6. Kashmiri chilly powder -1 tbsp
7. Tumeric powder - 1/2tsp
8. Cornflour - 1 tbsp
9. Egg-1
10. Pepper crushed - 1tsp
11. Lemon -1
12. Salt
13. Oil
Preparation
1.Grind items 2-7 together by just running the grinder for a second (not a fine paste).
2.Marinate the chicken pieces with this mix adding salt, lemon juice, egg and cornflour and keep it aside for 1/2 hr.

3.Heat oil in a pan, add the marinated chicken pieces and cook without covering the pan. No need to add water, let it cook with the juice coming out from the chicken. Cook till the chicken get roasted. Finally sprinkle crushed pepper and curry leave and serve hot.
