Sweet cutlet


Ingredients

1.Nenthra pazham (Kerala Banana)-2
2.Bread slice-3
3.Maida – ½ cup
4. Oil for frying
5. Ghee-2 tbsp

For filling

1.Coconut grated-1/2 cup
2.Cashew nut – 5 chopped
3. Raisins- 10
4. Sugar- ½ cup
5. Cardamom-2 crushed

Method

Make bread in to fine crumbs. Mix maida with little water and make smooth batter for dipping the cutlet.

Steam the banana, cool and remove the seeds. Mash it well and keep aside.

Heat ghee in a pan and fry items for filling (1-3) one by  one. To it add sugar & cardamom. When sugar starts melting, turn off the flame.

Make small balls with mashed banana and flatten with your palm. Put the filling and roll into round shapes. Dip them in maida batter and then roll each one in breadcrumbs to give it a thin coating.  Deep fry in oil until they turn into golden brown. Sweet cutlet is ready to serve.
