Orange Caramel Pudding
Ingredients:
1. Egg – 5
2. Milk – 200ml
3. Orange Juice – 50 ml
4. Sugar – 250gm
5. Orange peel – 1 tsp
6. Orange essense – 1tsp
7. Sugar for caramelizing – 50 gm

Method:
Caramelize the sugar and pour this into the greased pudding dish and keep aside.Mix eggs, sugar, milk and beat well. To it add orange juice, essence, one drop orange red colour(optional) and orange peel. Pour this mixture into the pudding bowl and steam about 1 hr. Decorate with Orange slices. keep the pudding in the fridge to cool.
NOTE:-
Use a steamer for steaming the pudding.The mold can be aluminium or steel, fill the mixture only upto 3/4 of the mold . While steaming, cover the mold withaluminium foil or butter paper to prevent moisture . After 45 mnts, poke with a knife in the centre to check whether the pudding is cooked well (the knife will come out clean).If it is not cooked well, replace the foil and cook until it’s done.
