Mutter pulao
Ingredients
1.Basmathi or jeera rice-2 cup
2.Green peas- 1 ½ cup
3.Water 4 cups
4.Onion-1 big
5.Green chilly-2
6.Ginger – 1 small piece
7.Garlic-4 flakes
8.Cinnamon stick-2 inchees
9.Cloves-8
10.Cardamom-4
11.Cashew nuts-50 gm
12.Raisins-100gm
13.Onion -1 chopped

15.Oil for frying-1/2 cup
16.Ghee – 3 tbsp( or oil )
Method
Heat oil in a pan, fry cashew, raisins and onion till brown and keep aside. Take another pan and add 3tbsp ghee or oil and add items 8-10 fry for a min. Add crushed green chilly, ginger and garlic and sauté, add chopped onion fry well. Then add rice, fry in low flame so that the rice grains are coated with oil or ghee. Add green peas and fry for few min. Add salt and 4 cups of water. Cook the rice in a pressure cooker for 3 whistles and then in low flame for 2-4 min.Mutter pulao is ready.Garnish with fried cashew nuts, raisins ,onion and serve hot.
