Green Chilly Chicken


Ingredients

1. Boneless chicken – 500 gms
2. Chopped onions –   500 gms
3. Chopped Capsicum – 1 big
4. Garlic flakes crushed – 8 nos
5. Chopped Green chilly – 6 nos
6. Celery – 2 tbsp(finely chopped)
7. Eggs – 2
8. Corn flour – 3 tbsp
9. Maida – 1 tbsp
10. Pepper powder – 2 tsp
11. Soya sauce – 1 tsp
12. Green Chilly sauce – 2 tbsp
13. Hot & sweet tomato sauce – 2 tbsp
14. Salt
15. Sunflower oil
Method
Cook the chicken pieces adding salt and little water. Separate the stock (about 1 ½  cup), mix it with 2 tbsp of corn flour and 1 ½   tsp pepper powder and keep aside. Make a batter with Maida, corn flour, eggs, ½ tsp pepper powder and salt. Dip the cooked chicken pieces in the batter one by one and deep fry and keep it aside. Use the same oil (required quantity)  for sautéing crushed garlic and green chilly, till it turn slightly brown. Then add to it, chopped onions & capsicum and sauté well.  Then add the sauces (11,12 &13), stir well. Finally add the chicken stock to the mix, when it starts boiling, add the chopped celery and chicken pieces. Turn off the fire after a few seconds. Chilly chicken is ready to serve.
