Lemon Rice
Ingredients:
1. Rice – 1/2 kg
2. Lemon – 2
3. Gingelly oil or any veg oil – 4 tbsp
4. Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
5. Asefoiteda ( kayam) – a pinch
6. Ginger – 1 tsp
7. Green chilly – 3nos
8. Urad dal – 2tsp
9. Pori kadala – 1tsp
10. Mustard – 1/2 tsp
11. Red chilly – 2nos
12. Peanuts – 2 tsp
13. Salt to taste
14. Curry leaves – few
Method:
Cook the rice and keep aside, add salt while cooking the rice. Heat oil and fry all the items from 4 to 12 . Mix lemon juice with cooked rice and the fried items, garnish with curry leaves.
