EASY CHICKEN CURRY


   
Ingredients

1. Chicken (cut to pieces) -500 gms
2. Ghee or butter- 3 tbsp
3. Jeera - 2tsp
4. Fenugreek - a pinch
5. Onion (very finely chopped) -2 big
6. Ginger-garlic paste -2 tsp
7. Chilly powder (kashmiri) -2 tsp
8. Tumeric powder -1/2 tsp
9. Garam masalaa or any chicken masala -1tbsp
10.Tomato -3 (make puree)
11. Coriander leaves - finely chopped

Method

1.Cut chicken into small pieces and keep aside.

2.Heat a pan and add ghee or butter, when it becomes hot add fenugreek and jeera, let it crackle, then add  chopped onion, saute till it becomes light brown.

3.Then add ginger garlic paste, saute, add powders (7-9), saute till the raw taste is gone. To this add, tomato puree and chopped coriander and  cook for some time.

4.Then add the chicken pieces, saute well and cook till it becomes soft. Continue heating till the gravy becomes thick. Finally sprinkle little ghee or butter and serve hot.
