TOMATO PACHA THIYYAL
Ingredients
Tomato -6, Shredded coconut -1cup, Dry red chilly - 6, Coriander
seeds -2tbsp, Onion-1, Green chilly - 4, Turmeric powder-1tsp, Curry leaves - a
few, Oil -2tsp, Salt as needed, Water-1cup.
Method
1.
Grind chilly, coriander, turmeric, coconut and onion together
into smooth paste.
2.
Put the coconut paste in a medium heated pan, add
water and salt and bring to boil.
3.
Then add chopped tomato and green chilly, cook until the
gravy becomes thick.
4.
Finally add curry leaves & oil and turn off
the stove. Cover the pan with a lid and keep for half an hour.
5.
Tomato thiyyal is ready. Serve with rice.
