MUSHROOM GREEN PEAS FRIED RICE



Ingredients

1.      Basmati rice -1cup
2.      Water -2cups
3.      Mushroom - 200gms
4.      Green peas (cooked) -1cup
5.      Capsicum -1
6.      Onion -2
7.      Garlic - 8
8.      Dry red chilly -4
9.      Ginger - 1tsp
10.  Green chilly -4
11.  Black pepper -  1tbsp crushed
12.  Salt
13.  Oil -4tsp
14.  Celery -2tbsp chopped
15.  Spring onion -2tbsp chopped

Method

1.      Wash and cook the rice in 2cups of boiling water adding enough salt and keep aside.

2.      Heat oil in a pan, fry garlic and red chilly until it turns into brown, remove it from oil.

3.   In the same oil, keeping the flame in medium heat, add chopped ginger, green chilly and sliced onion one by one, sauté well.

4.   Then add chopped mushroom, ginger, vinegar, black pepper and salt cook the mushroom until water is dried out.

5.   Once the mushrooms are cooked, add copped capcicum, cooked green peas, spring onion and celery, stir well in medium heat for 5mins.

6.      Finally add the cooked rice and toss all the ingredients, sauté well and fry for 2mins.

7.      Your yummy mushroom fried rice is ready to serve hot with green chilly salad.


8.      To make green chilly salad, take 2 tsp white vinegar, 2 tsp soya sauce, pinch of sugar and ½ cup water, mix well, then add finely chopped green chilly to it.
