CHOCOLATE NUTTY CAKE





Ingredients

1.      Maida (all purpose flour) - 1cup
2.      Butter -1tbsp
3.      Sugar – ¾ cup
4.      Cocoa powder – 1/3 cup
5.      Egg -2
6.      Curd – ½ cup
7.      Soda bicarbonate -1tsp
8.      Baking powder - ½ tsp
9.      Vanilla essence – ½ tsp
10.  Cashew nut – ¼ cup, chopped
11.  Almonds - ¼ cup hopped 

Method

1.      Preheat the oven in 180c for 15min and slightly grease the cake mounds with melted butter.

2.    Mix almond and cashew together and add 60gms of maida and put in a mixer and make a coarse powder. Add this to the remaining maida and set side.

3.  Beat eggs in a mixing bowl till fluffy; add butter, sugar, curd and vanilla essence to it. Thereafter add cocoa powder, soda bicarbonate and baking powder to the maida and mix well.

4.     Blend all the ingredients together using a spatula for 2mins.

5.   Pour this to the greased mounds and bake in a preheated oven at 180c for 20 mins or till done.
