BREAD PAKODA



Ingredients

  1. Bread  - 5 Slices
  2. Besan - 4 tbsp
  3. All purpose flour - 4tbsp
  4. Rice flour - 2 tbsp
  5. Egg -1
  6. Black sesame - 1tbsp
  7. Sugar - 1 tsp
  8. Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  9. Red chilly powder - 1tbsp
  10. Asafoetida - a  pinch
  11. Salt - a pinch
  12. baking Soda - a pinch
  13. Oil - as needed for deep frying 
Method
  1. Cut the bread slices into two halves.
  2. Beat the egg and mix all the ingredients by pouring enough water to make the batter  neither too thick  nor too thin. 
  3. Heat oil in a deep pan, dip the bread slices in the batter gently just as to coat it with the batter on both sides and place the slices one by one in the hot oil. 
  4. Fry the pakodas in medium heat without stirring until they are golden brown on both sides. Once fried, remove it from the oil to a kitchen tissue.
  5. Serve hot with green chutney or sauce
