PALAK PARATHA/SPINACH PARATHA



  
Ingredients

For dough
  
1.      Wheat flour -2 cups
2.      Jeera -1 tsp
3.      Ajwain/carom seeds - 1tsp
4.      Salt - to taste
5.      Oil -2 tbsp
6.      Water as required to knead the dough

For puree

1.      Palak -1bunch
2.      Ginger-1 inch
3.      Green chilly -2

Method

1.For making puree clean and wash the palak and put it boiling water. After 10 mits, take it out from water and keep aside to cool. Blend this along with ginger and green chilly to a smooth paste.

2.Prepare dough using the palak puree. Take a lemon sized dough roll and flatten it like thin chappthi or paratha. 

3.Heat a tawa and cook the rolled paratha on both sides brushing butter or ghee. 

4.Serve hot  with curd or pickle.
