CHICKEN STEW
Ingredients
1. Chicken – ½ kg
2. Potato -2 cubed
3. Onion crushed -3
4. Ginger - garlic paste -2
tbsp
5. Green chilly crushed -6
6. Turmeric powder-1tsp
7. Curry leaves - 3 stems
8. Salt
9. Cinnamon –2small piece
10. Cloves - 6
11. Ghee -3 tbsp
12. Small onion (shallot) -10
13. Coconut milk -2 cups
Method
1.Cook the chicken pieces in a cooker along with crushed onion
& green chilly, potato, ginger-garlic paste, items 6-8 and ½ cup water upto
3 whistles. After cooling, add coconut milk.
2.Heat ghee in a pan, add the chopped small onions and curry leaves, sauté well, and add powdered cinnamon and cloves, sauté and add this to the chicken stew.
3.Boil for a few seconds and serve hot with ghee rice or appam.
