CHICKEN CUTLET




Ingredients

1.      Chicken -250 gms
2.      Salt to taste
3.      Turmeric pdr - ½  tsp
4.      Water – ½  up
5.      Garlic crushed - 1 tbsp
6.      Onion - 1 finely chopped
7.      Pepper pdr -2 tbsp
8.      Green chilly -2 chopped
9.      Fennel seed -1tsp
10.  Garam masala -1tsp
11.  Coriander leaves - a handful
12.  Egg -2
13.  Bread crumbs -1 cup
14.  Oil for frying

Method

1.Cook the chicken adding items 2-4 in a cooker upto 3 whistle. After cooling, shred the chicken pieces after removing the bones and keep aside.

2.Heat oil in a pan, add the crushed garlic, fry well, and then add items 6-11 one by one, sauté well and keep aside for cooling.  

3.To the above, add the shredded chicken and yolks of 2 eggs and salt if needed, mix well. 

4.Divide the mixture into small lemon size balls and then shape each of them into patties. 

5.In a bowl, beat the whites of 2 eggs until they become light and fluffy. Dip each cutlet into the beaten egg white and roll in the bread crumbs. 

6.Heat oil in a frying pan, drop the cutlets one by one and fry keeping the flame in medium high, until the colour turns into golden brown on both sides. 

7.Serve hot with tomato sauce.
