PUTTU -PAZHAM VILAYICHATHU
Ingredients
- Puttu (left over)- 3 pieces
- Nenthra pazham – 2 chopped
- Shredded coconut – ½ cup
- Cashew nut -10
- Raisins – 15
- Ghee – 3 tbsp
- Sugar – ½ cup
- Cardamom powder – 1tsp
Method
- Crushed the puttu pieces (1 kutti) with hands and keep aside.
- Heat ghee in a pan shallow fry banana pieces, keep aside.
- In the same pan, roast nuts and raisins separately, then add shredded coconut, sauté for few mins.
- To the above, add the crushed puttu and mix.
- Finally add cardamom powder and fried banana pieces, then mix all ingredients well.
- Serve as snacks for children.
