PUTTU -PAZHAM VILAYICHATHU

 


Ingredients

  1. Puttu (left over)- 3 pieces
  2. Nenthra pazham – 2 chopped
  3. Shredded coconut – ½ cup
  4. Cashew nut -10
  5. Raisins – 15
  6. Ghee – 3 tbsp
  7. Sugar – ½ cup
  8. Cardamom powder – 1tsp

Method

  1. Crushed the puttu pieces (1 kutti) with hands and keep aside.
  2. Heat ghee in a pan shallow fry banana pieces, keep aside.
  3. In the same pan, roast nuts and raisins separately, then add shredded coconut, sauté for few mins.
  4. To the above, add the crushed puttu and mix.
  5. Finally add cardamom powder and fried banana pieces, then mix all ingredients well.
  6. Serve  as snacks for children.
