MUTTER - ALOO





Ingredients

  1. Potato - 2 medium
  2. Green peas -1 cup
  3. Tomato - 4 medium chopped
  4. Ginger - Garlic Paste- 2 tbsp
  5. Kashmiri chilly powder - 3 TSP
  6. Turmeric powder
  7. Coriander - 2 tbsp
  8. Jeera powder - 1 tsp
  9. Oil- 2 tbsp
  10. Jeera - 1 tsp
  11. Bay leaf - 1
  12. Salt as needed
  13. Hot water -2cups

 Method

  1. Cut the potato into cube size and boil until soft.
  2. Make puree of tomato and keep aside.
  3. Heat oil in a pan, roast jeera in medium heat, then add bay leaf, turmeric, chilly, coriander and jeera powders, sauté, sprinkle little water to avoid burning.
  4. To it add tomato puree and salt bring to boil until oil comes up.
  5. Then add hot water and boiled potatoes, keep on boiling, check salt, add coriander leaves and turn off the stove.
  6. Serve hot with roti
