CHOCOLATE BANANA MUFFINS

 


Ingredients

  1. All Purpose flour – 1 ½ cup  
  2. Cocoa powder - ½ cup/40 gms
  3. Butter – 1/3 cup melted
  4. Egg – 2 
  5. Banana – 2 ripe (small banana 5)
  6. Milk – ¼ cup
  7. Sugar – ¾ cup powdered
  8. Baking powder - 1tsp
  9. Baking soda – ½ tsp
  10. Salt - a pinch
  11. Vanilla essence – 1 tsp

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 c for 10 mins, grease the muffin tray with butter and keep aside.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas well with a fork in a mixing bowl. To it add eggs and powdered sugar whisk gently and keep side.
  3. In another bowl, add flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda and mix well.
  4. Make a well in the middle of the dry ingredients, then add milk, vanilla essence and mashed banana, egg and sugar mix; stir gently until the mixture is just well combined (do not over mix the batter).
  5. Spoon out the batter into the muffin tray filling them 2/3 from top. Bake in 180c for 15 – 20 mins. Check by inserting a tooth pick at the centre of the muffin; it should come out clean.
  6. SERVE MUFFIN IN ROOM TEMPERATURE AND ENJOY!!
