CHILLY GOBI
Ingredients

Cauliflower- 1 medium
sized

Maida -2 tbsp
3.
Corn flour -2
tbsp
4.
Red chilly pdr -2
tsp
5.
Salt as required

Oil for frying

Onion -1 big
chopped
8.
Capsicum -1
chopped
9.
Green chilly -2
chopped
10. Garlic(finely chopped) –1tbsp
11. Ginger(finely chopped) -1tbsp
12. Butter -2 tbsp
13. Corn flour -2 tsp
14. Tomato sauce -2 tbsp
15. Soya sauce - 2 tsp
16. Chilly sauce -2 tsp
17. Vinegar -1tsp
18. Sugar-1 tsp
Preparation
1.Boil the cauliflower florets in
water with salt for 5 mts, drain and keep aside after cooling in a bowl. Toss
the cauliflower gently and make sure that the florets are coated with the
powders 2-5 and keep it for 5 mts.
2.Heat oil in a frying pan and deep fry the florets until golden brown. Heat butter in a pan add items 9-11, sauté well, then add onion and capsicum, sauté until it become soft.
3.Then add all the sauces (14-16) with vinegar, sugar and salt and mix well.
4. Finally mix little water in 2 tsp corn flour and add this to the onion mixture.
5.Cook for few mts till the raw smell of the corn flour goes. To this add the fried cauliflower, mix well and remove from fire and garnish with spring onion or celery.
6.Chilly Gobi is ready to serve.
