CINNAMON - DOUGH COOKIES
Ingredients
- All purpose flour/Maida – ½ kg/500gm
- Butter – ¼ kg /250 gm
- Egg – 2
- Powdered Sugar -75 gms
- Cinnamon powder – 1 tsp
- Black Sesame – 1 tbsp
- Jeera – 1 tsp
- Baking powder- ½ tsp
- Baking soda – ¼ tsp
- Salt a pinch
- Vanilla essence- ¼ tsp
Method
- Sieve all purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon powder, together in a mixing bowl.
- Cream together butter, sugar, salt, vanilla essence and egg add vanilla essence, jeera and sesame. Add this to the all purpose mixture and mix well to make a dough.
- Shape the dough into desired shapes, set cookies 1 inch apart on greased cookie tray and bake in a preheated oven at 180c for 15- 20 mins or until the edges are lightly browned. Take it out once its colour become light brown .Let them cool completely.
- Store in an air tight container and enjoy as evening snacks.
