CINNAMON - DOUGH COOKIES

 


Ingredients

  1. All purpose flour/Maida – ½ kg/500gm
  2. Butter – ¼ kg /250 gm
  3. Egg – 2
  4. Powdered Sugar -75 gms
  5. Cinnamon powder – 1 tsp
  6. Black Sesame – 1 tbsp
  7. Jeera – 1 tsp
  8. Baking powder- ½ tsp
  9. Baking soda – ¼ tsp
  10. Salt a pinch
  11. Vanilla essence- ¼  tsp

Method

  1. Sieve all purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon powder, together in a mixing bowl.
  2. Cream together butter, sugar, salt, vanilla essence and egg add vanilla essence, jeera and sesame. Add this to the all purpose mixture and mix well to make a dough.
  3. Shape the dough into desired shapes, set cookies 1 inch apart on greased cookie tray and bake in a preheated oven at 180c for 15- 20 mins or until  the edges are lightly browned. Take it out once its colour become light brown .Let them cool completely.
  4. Store in an air tight container and enjoy as evening snacks.
