PANEER – GREEN PEAS CURRY

 


Ingredients

  1. Paneer cubes – 1 cup
  2. Green Peas – 2 cups (cooked)
  3. Tomato -2 cups chopped
  4. Ginger –Garlic paste -1tsp
  5. Salt as needed
  6. Chilly powder – 1 tsp
  7. Curd – 2 tbsp
  8. Butter – 2 tsp
  9. Ginger – Garlic paste – 2 tsp
  10. Jeera powder – 1 tsp
  11. Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
  12. Chilly powder – 2 tsp
  13. Coriander powder- 1tsp
  14. Kasuri Methi – ½ tsp
  15. Garam Masala – 1tsp
  16. Fresh cream – ½ cup

Method

  1. In a bowl marinate paneer cubes with a mix of curd, 1tsp chilly powder, 1tsp ginger –garlic paste & salt and keep for 1 hr.
  2. Heat butter and add balance ginger garlic paste, sauté well, add chilly, turmeric, jeera and coriander powders, sauté, add chopped tomatoes and salt sauté until oil comes up.
  3. Add garam masala and kasuri methi, mix well add paneer and cooked peas and cook in low flame for 10 mins.
  4. Finally add fresh cream and turn off the flame.
  5. SERVE HOT WITH ROTI.
