PANEER – GREEN PEAS CURRY
Ingredients
- Paneer cubes – 1 cup
- Green Peas – 2 cups (cooked)
- Tomato -2 cups chopped
- Ginger –Garlic paste -1tsp
- Salt as needed
- Chilly powder – 1 tsp
- Curd – 2 tbsp
- Butter – 2 tsp
- Ginger – Garlic paste – 2 tsp
- Jeera powder – 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
- Chilly powder – 2 tsp
- Coriander powder- 1tsp
- Kasuri Methi – ½ tsp
- Garam Masala – 1tsp
- Fresh cream – ½ cup
Method
- In a bowl marinate paneer cubes with a mix of curd, 1tsp chilly powder, 1tsp ginger –garlic paste & salt and keep for 1 hr.
- Heat butter and add balance ginger garlic paste, sauté well, add chilly, turmeric, jeera and coriander powders, sauté, add chopped tomatoes and salt sauté until oil comes up.
- Add garam masala and kasuri methi, mix well add paneer and cooked peas and cook in low flame for 10 mins.
- Finally add fresh cream and turn off the flame.
- SERVE HOT WITH ROTI.
