MUTTA (EGG) PIRALAN
Ingredients
Boiled eggs-4, Onion-2 chopped, red chilly pdr-2 tsp,
Coriander pdr-1 tsp, Gram masala - ½ tsp, turmeric pdr -1/2 tsp, fenugreek pdr-1/2 tsp, raisins-
10-15, tamarind paste 2 tsp, salt, curry leaves -2 stems, Oil-2 tsp, mustard
seeds - 1tsp, jeera -1 tsp, dry red chilly -2 broken,
Method
1.Heat oil in a pan, add mustard, jeera, red chilly and curry
leaves, let it splutter, then add chopped onions, again sauté well, then add the
powders and sprinkle little water, sauté until the raw smell goes.
2.Grind the raisins and tamarind, add this to the onion
masala.
3. Finally add salt and ½ cup water to the above and let it boil in medium flame.
4.Prick the boiled eggs few times and add this into the onion
masala.
5.Boil for few mts more till the gravy thickens.
6.Egg roast is ready to serve with appam or roti.
