IDIYAPPAM UPMA
Ingredients
Idiyappam -8-10, Onion -1 chopped,
Tomato -2chopped, Ginger- garlic paste – 1 tbsp, Green chilly – 4 finely
chopped, Turmeric pdr-1/2 tsp, Lime – 1, Mustard seeds-2, tsp, Urad dal-2tsp, Bengal
gram-2 tsp, curry leaves -2 stems, Dry red chilly -2, Oil-2 tbsp, Salt.
Method
1.Make idiyappam or use leftover
idiyappam. Crumble it roughly and keep aside.
2.Heat oil in a pan and add mustard,
urad dal, Bengal gram, red chilly and curry leaves. Once it starts to splutter,
add onion and sauté until it becomes transparent.
3.To the above add green chilly, ginger-
garlic paste, sauté well, then add turmeric pdr, salt, chopped tomato and sauté
again.
4. Finally add lime juice and the
crumbled idiyappam and mix well.
5. Idiyappam upma is ready to serve.
