ALOO JEERA



Ingredients

  1. Potato -5 
  2. Jeera - 1 tsp
  3. Turmeric powder -1 tsp
  4. Red Chilly powder - 1 tsp
  5. Salt as needed
  6. Oil as needed 
  7. Coriander seeds - 1 tbsp
  8. Jeera - 1 tsp
  9. Amchoor powder/Dry Mango powder - 1/2 tsp
  10. Coriander  Leaves - a few

Method

  1. Wash and Peel the potato, cut into 1 inch pieces, boil and keep aside.
  2. Heat  a pan and dry roast 1 tsp jeera and Coriander seeds; crush it to coarse powder and keep aside.
  3. Heat oil in a a pan, roast 1tsp jeera, to it add turmeric, Amchoor & chilly powders and salt, then add the coarsely crushed jeera and coriander.
  4. To the above add boiled potato pieces, mix well, saute in medium heat, finally add coriander leaves and switch off the flame.
  5. Serve hot  with RICE OR ROTI
