ALOO JEERA
Ingredients
- Potato -5
- Jeera - 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder -1 tsp
- Red Chilly powder - 1 tsp
- Salt as needed
- Oil as needed
- Coriander seeds - 1 tbsp
- Jeera - 1 tsp
- Amchoor powder/Dry Mango powder - 1/2 tsp
- Coriander Leaves - a few
Method
- Wash and Peel the potato, cut into 1 inch pieces, boil and keep aside.
- Heat a pan and dry roast 1 tsp jeera and Coriander seeds; crush it to coarse powder and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a a pan, roast 1tsp jeera, to it add turmeric, Amchoor & chilly powders and salt, then add the coarsely crushed jeera and coriander.
- To the above add boiled potato pieces, mix well, saute in medium heat, finally add coriander leaves and switch off the flame.
- Serve hot with RICE OR ROTI
