SEMIYA RAVA IDLY



Ingredients

Semiya -1 cup, Rava-1 cup, Curd(sour)-2 cups, Water-1 cup, Green chilly -4 finely chopped, Onion-1 chopped, Mustard-1tsp, Urad dal-1tsp, Ginger (chopped) -1 tbsp, Asafoetida-1/4 tsp, Curry leaves-a few,  Ghee- 4 tbsp, Salt as needed.

Method

1.Roast the rava and semiya in ghee.
2. In a pan heat ghee, add mustard and urad dal, sauté well, add chopped green chilly, ginger and chopped onion, sauté until it turns into slight brown .
3.Finally add salt and asafoetida, mix well,  add the roasted rava and semiya into it.
4. Add the water into the curd beat well, add this in the rava mix and stir well and keep aside for soaking for 5 mts,( you can add more water & curd to get the idly consistency).
5. To make  idly, cook for about 20 mts.
6.Serve hot with chutney
