MUSHROOM PULAO

 


Ingredients

  1. Button mushroom – 4 cup chopped
  2. Boiled Basmati rice – 3cup
  3. Garlic- 6 flake
  4. Onion - 1 cup finely chopped
  5. Ginger - small piece
  6. Green chilly – 4
  7. Cinnamon – small piece
  8. Cardamom -1
  9. Cloves – 2
  10. Pepper -2
  11. Coriander, pudina leaves -1 cup each (chopped)
  12. Lemon juice – 2 tbsp
  13. Ghee – 2tbsp
  14. Garam masala – ½ tsp
  15. Salt as needed

Method

Grind together items 3-12 to a smooth paste and keep aside. Heat two spoonful of ghee in a deep pan, add the ground paste and sauté well. When the green smell goes, add chopped mushroom and mix well, then add salt and cook in low flame till the mushrooms become soft. 

To the above add two cups of the cooked basmati rice, mix well, sprinkle Garam masala and turn off the flame. Serve hot with salad.
