MANGA PERUKKU

 



Ingredients

1.     Chopped  raw manga – 1 cup

2.     Curd – 1 cup

3.     Shredded coconut -  cup

4.     Mustard seeds – 2 tsp

5.     Green chilly – 8

6.     Salt

7.     Sugar – little (optional)

For seasoning

1.     Oil -2 tbsp

2.     Dry red chilly – 2

3.     Mustard – 2 tsp

4.     Curry  leaves -a few

5.     Fenugreek  – ½ tsp

Method

·       Grind the mango, coconut, green chilly, mustard  along with little bit of curd for grinding

·       Mix the coconut manga paste with curd, add salt and sugar, mix well.

·       Heat oil in a pan, splutter the mustard and fenugreek seeds, add dry red chilly, curry leaves, sauté for a few mins.

·       Pour the above over the manga perukku. Serve with rice.
