CARROT DAL SOUP
Ingredients:
Carrots -50gms/1cup,
Tur dal -50gms, Water-1litre, Salt to taste, Lemon juice-2tsp/according to your
taste, Pepper-to taste, Turmeric powder- a pinch, Garlic crushed - 1tbsp.
Method:
1.Wash carrots and cut into fine pieces.
2.Wash Tur dal.
3.Mix carrots and tur dal in water.
4.Cook crushed garlic, turmeric powder, carrot and tur
dal, till soft.
5.Pass through a soup strainer or you can mash the
cooked items finely.
6.Add salt, pepper powder and lemon juice.
7. Serve hot.
